Ellesmere Port Deep Drainage Pumping Chamber
The Aim
A system was required to control and regulate syphonic drainage from nearby factory roofs, with collected water stored within an attenuation pond.
The Solution
Moorcroft constructed an eight-metre-deep, 3.5-metre-diameter pumping station, supported by MGF's cofferdam design and specialist heavy excavation equipment.
The Outcome
The pumping chamber was successfully constructed to provide the infrastructure required to control and regulate roof-water drainage from the surrounding factory buildings.
